Bio

Me’Cole, born and raised in Houston's historic Third Ward neighborhood, began exploring her talents as a performer and songwriter at the tender age of ten when she wrote her first song. She continued to develop her talents as a singer/songwriter throughout her intermediate school years and as a student at the Jack Yates High School for Communications. From there, she went to live with her aunt in Los Angeles where she got her first chance to perform as part of a gospel group called All God's Children. Me’Cole later returned to Houston, started her own group and continued to perform on the local circuit. Me’Cole’s life was trying, but her love for her son, family and music, provided the necessary motivation to see her through some tragic moments. These moments are the core of her ability to speak to the soul of her audience. With a love for all types of music, from alternative to hip hop, R&B to rap, jazz, blues and rock, it's easy to see why she is destined to perform. She enjoys great artist like Phil Collins, Creed, Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin and Teena Marie, and current artist like Mary J. Blige, Eve, Eminem, 50 Cent, Nelly and Scarface, just to name a few. Ask her who influenced her and she'll tell you "Alicia Keys", whom she truly admires. After years of performing at some of Houston's hottest downtown clubs, Me’Cole is poised to become one of the great singers of her generation. Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce to you, Me’Cole!
