Lloyd Litke lives with his wife, his son, and his cat in Edmonton, Alberta. He plays guitars (acoustic and electric, lead and rhythm), and sings (lead and harmonies). He has opened for a wide range of big-name acts, from Long John Baldry to Taj Mahal. After ten years on the road singing and playing cover songs, Lloyd decided to devote his time to songwriting. His taste is eclectic. He tends to write mostly in the country/pop/folk vein. Lloyd enjoys collaborating with other writers, in person or over the web. He loves lyrics that shake up his feelings, and grooves that wake up his feet. His band's CD, "Tuning In", featured six of Lloyd's songs. In 2005 another song of his, "Democracy", was used in the Inglewood Film documentary, "Democracy From the Shadows". Lloyd is a member of SOCAN and the Songwriters Association of Canada.
