The music of singer/songwriter Lea Longo reflects the musical Passions that inspired her back when she was growing up in Montreal, Canada. With influences from Sheryl Crow to Sting, you can clearly hear that pop/rock sound in her music still maintaining an innocent vibe with her smooth, distinctive voice. Performing since age of 11 throughout Canada and Abroad, She Lea has taken her material as far as Hollywood, and now she is back home, performing her debut album of songs of love, hope to a welcoming fan-base.
An already accomplished songwriter, she has been awarded the Winner of the NATIONAL SONGWRITING COMPETITION at CMW,with her song "Ugly", and she won the Montreal's MIX 96 songwriting contest.
In addition, she has movie and TV song credits to her name, ( her song "Someone Like me" has been placed in 21 Century FOX movie: "Cheaper by the Dozen" starring Steve Martin and Hillary Duff. Another song “Confessions” was featured on the 2002 Season Premiere of “Dawson’s Creek”)
