One of my songs, 'Twelve Dozen Roses' was just picked up by Sunshine Records out of Canada and another is being added to a brand new cd by 'Those Gals' from Australia and they plan to use more of my songs as time goes along. Texas bred, was raised with country music always in my home. Mom and dad sang and played guitar and we had friends over every other weekend that played instruments too. I wrote my first song at age of 9 but really began some serious writing when I married my husband and when he realized my talent he bought me all the equipment he could to help further my songwriting. I've had a couple of publishers over the years but none worked out due to lack of funds and contacts to get me really going in this business. One of my songs 'Twelve Dozen Roses' was picked by Sunshine Records, just recently, for a compilation cd they are coming out with and another of my songs is going to be on a brand new cd of an Australian group called 'Those Gals'. They are going through other songs of mine for their future albums as well. Dreams do come true. Let's hope there's more to come.
