Born Kumandae Miller, meaning Highly favored King, was blessed with the gift of music. He has been influenced by artists such as Marvin Gaye, Charlie Wilson, Angela Winbush, Christopher Williams, Donny Hathaway, Gerald Levert, and Fred Hammond. Kumandae sang and wrote the hook for "Immaculate" produced by Battle Cat in collaboration with The Survivalist. "Immaculate" charted billboards top 10 hot R&B/Hip Hop single sales charts for more than 13 consecutive weeks in 2004.
