Jon Paul cut his first record in 1966 with his own band, The Runaways. In 1968, he landed his first studio job at New York's Centaur Productions, under the tuteledge of Robert Margouleff. There, he worked on commercials for companies like Gillette, Miller Beer, and many others.

In the 70's he played lead guitar with Buckwheat , The Rose Colored Glass, The Bojangles, and The Bill Gaither Trio

From 1971 thru 1980, he worked as staff producer and arranger at Pinebrook studios, while playing and writing jingles for jingle houses and clients in the Indianapolis area. In the mid 80's he was Chief Engineer and staff arranger for The Barn Recording Studio.

Over the years, Jon has arranged, produced, and engineered hundreds of custom gospel and country albums, and produced numerous jingles and commercial music projects. He is a two time ADDY Award winner.

He now lives in Nashville, where he continues to write, arrange and produce, with a special focus on music for film.
