Chicagoland musician playing various styles-blues 2 bluegrass-folky 2 funky. After his wife's cancer death in 2000 he felt called to address the topic of grief from a musical perspective in his 1st album, which shipped 9/11/01. 4 albums followed & 4 of his songs were written for and used in 4 different movies by indie filmmaker Robert Alaniz. His 2017 project, These Streets Are Holy, amassed over 90,000 Facebook Likes in its first 9 months. A published playwright, having written both the book and score for One Night in Bethlehem (ONiB) which was 1st round ballot for the 59th Grammy Awards in 2 categories: Theatrical Musical Album & Contemporary Christian Song. Long time Pres of the 2000+ member Chicago Songwriters Collective & voting Grammy member. Founding & ongoing member of the Palos Community Church Praise Band. His songs have been performed in churches & covered by others. A Shrine piper for over 30 years in 100s of parades/performances & solo piping at weddings & funerals

the movie premier of D.I.N.K.s was a blast at the historic Portage Theater in Chicago. I played before - joining Jessica Shepherd's band blowing soome blues harp in my kilt.....was nearly a fight between the bass player and the sound guy - pretty interesting.....
