I grew up in a small town outside of Houston called Manvel, Tx. My parents put me in to steel guitar lessons at the age of 6. My sisters boy friend at the time played guitar in a traditional country band so I switched to guitar shortly after and have been playing and writting ever since. My mother and father always made sure through the years that I had a decent guitar to play. They passed away in 1996 and never had the chance the really hear my music because back then I was playing all around town doing the country copy work. I wish they were here now to see what I've become and what I've passed on to my two sons. Both of which play guitar and sing and write. I know they would be proud and are watching over me now. They always did and always will. I love you and miss you mom and dad.
