Music has gotton me through some tough times in my life. Weather it's writting or listening to music; it's what I use as therapy. I love to use music as a way to reach out to other people and let them know what's on my mind as well as letting them know they are not alone. If there is one thing I love to do the most is suprise people because I'm not afraid to be myself or speak my mind. As a young artist I know what it takes to go into the studio and spend a few hours pounding out a good song, I'm a profectionist and I always know what I want in the studio before I go in. With music, I've always been able to adopt and change with not just the trends, but with what I'm feeling at that moment. If I feel like soul I'll make it soul in my own way; if I feel like rock, I'll rock it out my own way. I'm in it for the art, not the money or the fame. It may be nice to have fans, but you need people that understand you as well as those that don't understand you to really make a difference

My name is Jim Frederick, I'm 25 and live in Kalamazoo Michigan where I've spent most of my life. I have one year left at Western Michigan University, but am putting school on hold to work on my music. I have just finished five quality songs that range from Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, and jazz.
