JAB formed in the spring of 2006 in Los Angeles. Jai Harold Road, former producer of Poe and Amanda Perez, decided to start the group after meeting Alex A. Cross, creator of the HBO series, Project Greenlight.
Beth Garbo, the 21 year old 'baby of the band', recently moved to LA from New Hampshire in order to expand her musical horizons.
Since then, JAB has recorded over 25 songs in alternative/folk-rock genres. They've been played on college radio, including the SMC station, and in various other countries, like the Netherlands, Russia, Belgium, and on Canal B's Freeson Show in France, as well as numerous online radio shows and podcasts. They've also been featured in the magazine, Downtown LA Life, and are affiliated with environmental groups such as Heal the Bay.
Followers will soon be able to hear JAB songs on the soundtrack of Robin Murray's documentary film, Dancers.
