I grew up in my Dad's feed store where I went every day after school and stayed until late at night. We played cards, checkers, and country music in Daddy's store. We always had at least one guitar at the store, and we did a lot of pickin' and grinnin'. You might say that I was raised on country music. Therefore, it is no surprise that I enjoy playing and singing old country and old gospel music today. As a songwriter, most of my songs have a country or comedy flavor. When I perform, I try to make sure the audience is entertained and has a good time.

I just finished a Hometown CD (i.e., six songs that are about and/or reference my hometown, Hartsville, Tennesse). Our first scheduled performance to play the songs in Hartsville is booked for September 24, and some of the songs are being played on the local radio station, WTNK. We also just scheduled a show at Quality Care Nursing Home in Lebanon, Tennessee on July 11. I am playing my music in the South (Alabama and Tennessee so far), but I am willing to expand to other states.
