Sometimes Plan B can put Plan A to shame. Singer Jeano and Musician, Edson Jean would second that emotion, seeing as how their first shot at music got them some rave notices, but not much else. Now, their second shot, in the form of Alternative, Pop, R&B, has the Miami Duo looking like the Cinderella story for 2009
When the duo hooked up in Delray Beach they were summarily invigorated by adding an Alternative, groove-based tint to their explosive R&B. Jeano and Edson have been making music together for three years. With great studio experience by recording with Grammy nominated engineer Robert Guertin. The two are just waiting for the right people to lend an ear to their music. They have performed in over thirty venues in south Florida. Mango Fest, Broward Center for Performing Arts, Haitian festival is a few of their many performances. Jeano and Edson strive to achieve their goal of spreading their music around the world.

Jeano and Edson's Story

Jean Michel, better known as Jeano, was born in Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince, on September 25th, 1988. At a young age, Jeano and his family of six relocated to Delray Beach, Florida. It was there where he was raised and his artistic career emerged.
It is no coincidence that Jeano found his calling in music. Ironically, he was completely deaf in one ear until the age of four. Soon after healing, Jeano discovered his vocal talent. Influenced by his mother, who sang in a gospel choir in Haiti and his newly discovered forte in writing, Jeano began to write lyrics. He recognized music creation to be his true vocation.
During his final high school years, Jeano joined musical forces with his multi-talented cousin Edson Jean. Edson had previously been part of the music program at A.W Dreyfoos School of the Arts. Jeano and Edson's duo was fate. Edson is a multi-faceted, musical fiend! He plays four instruments, two of which were self-taught. Adding an Alternative, groove-based tint to Jeano's explosive R&B, Edson brought forth a new element to what would become the duos vigorous music. With an innovative musical frame-of-mind, the two began frequently recording with Grammy nominated sound engineer Robert Guertin.
It wasn't long before it became evident that Jeano was more than just a voice. He possesses a remarkable talent beyond that of the majority of young artists, as he writes and produces all of his music. Collaborating with Edson was the perfect fit, as the two carry bright personalities and stage presence that exuberate confidence and captivate audiences Over the years, the two have entertained at over ninety events in a plethora of venues including the Broward Center for the Performing Arts (opening for The Temptations Reunion concert); Old School Square (2008 Haitian Festival); Broward County Fair Grounds (2008 Mango Festival); Kravis Center (Artist Showcase) and many more. They are highly acclaimed in Palm Beach County, with an army of support from dedicated fans.
Their goal is to share a message of hope, love and fantasy to whoever is willing to lend an ear. Self-expression and moving others is what they believe they were born to do.
