Joey B. Banks is a performer, music producer, music educator, two time Grammy nominated drummer, and four time Madison Area Music Association Drummer/Percussionist of the Year.
These days you can see Joey B. performing with many award winning groups and artist which include, Steely Dane, Gabe Burdulis Band,Honor Among Thieves, Up From The Skies-The Music of Jimi Hendrix,and leads his own jazz funk trio The JB3's and his funk big band the Funkee Jbeez.
Joey B.currently teaches 25 drum students privately, does bookings and promotions for local bands (JBENT Productions) and is the director of the Black Star Drum Line and recently created the Black Star Drum Academy youth can learn percussive and marching arts.

Banks is a music entrepreneur, music educator and ,2010 and 2011 Grammy nominated drummer. 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018 Madison Area Music Association Drummer of the Year and he is a graduate of the Musicians Institute of Technology in Hollywood California and a proud Madison Scout Drum and Bugle Corps Alumnus.
Joey B currently performs with his bands The Funkee JBeez and the JB3's along with Honor Among Thieves, Steely Dane, Gabe Burdulis and Up From the Skies-The Music of Jimi Hendrix.
