Lesley Beth is composer, artist and film editor. Based in Sydney, Australia, she writes entertaining, catchy songs that combine intelligent lyrics with a wide range of musical genre. Her lyrics are full of rhyme and alliteration - that make them fun to listen to as well as to remember.
A teacher by training, Lesley has used her expereince to craft a PHILOSOPHY about writing songs for children as follows:-
"Children of all ages love rhyme, alliteration and lyrical hooks. Songs are the perfect medium to use all or some of these attributes to engage children's imagination and communicate ideas to inspire learning.
Songs can range from toe tapping to slow and emotive - BUT - should always be memorable and entertaining.
That is why I try never to underestimate children's powers of comprehension with immature lyrics or their appreciation for more complex musical interpretation when I compose and produce a song.
