Jameston Gregory

Jameston Gregory, guitar virtuoso. Jameston was forced into music by his visionary parents when he was in 6th grade. He dutifully played his clarinet from grades 6 thru 10. When he turned 15, he was surprised by his parents with a starter electric guitar and practice amp. He embraced and loved the guitar and practiced 8-10 hours every day. On is 16 birthday, his parents presented him with a mint 1978 Ibanez Musician guitar and a vintage Fender amp. He continued to practice most of each day and became the local 'future rock star' of his high school. He received lessons from Bob Warren and Tim Patrick of Greenwich, NY. He currently performs with Ibanez RG750 guitars and a Peavey 5150 full stack. Jameston is known for his impeccable ear and his ability to play virtually anything he hears. He is lead guitarist for the regional rock band Velvet Jones. He draws great attention wherever he plays and is continuing to refine his craft. While he loves playing the great metal and classic rock music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, when he creates his own music it comes out a beautiful, melodic piece that satisfies the primal music needs we all have. His instrumental pieces need no vocals. Every moment is filled with harmony and suspense while you wait for what he has planned for your listening pleasure.
