James Stauber was born in 1976 in the Czech Republic. He has studied piano and music theory since he was 4 years old. At the age of 8 he took up the bassoon, when he turned 16 he began playing classical and electric guitars and a year later started his first vocal performance classes. He has studied the harpsichord and other subjects related to early music. He programs electronic beats/loops. He has performed in classical music, rock/metal, acoustic, and techno/rave venues. He writes both classical and popular music. His earliest compositions date back to the year 1982.
To-date he has recorded seven CD’s of which Lost Dreams is the latest addition.
He enjoys traveling, reading poetry, horseback riding, sword fighting, watching historical (French Cinema) and sci-fi (Hollywood) movies, drinking fine wine, and many many other pleasures the world has to offer.
He has a passion for studying these: theology, history, biology, medicine.
For 15 years he has been practicing kung-fu.
