The Man Behind The Voice

JAE RICH, birth name Jalil Richards,was born in Ahoskie, North Carolina and raised in the country town of Hinesville,Ga with his grandmother after being separated from his mother at 5yr old. Growing up in a house of adults and music of the late 80s and 90s, he became fathered by music as he grew older. When he was 16 in highschool he managed to produce for and egineer for his first hip hop group he formed called Georgia Bound. After highschool Jae RIch left to GreatLakes, IL for the U.S Navy.

Once he finished boot camp, he was then shipped to his first duty station In St. Marys Ga. Still having the drive to do music he met up with a fellow shipmate and formed a group called ESQ. While being in that group there where lessons he learned on how dirty or mischievious people can be when verbaly selling you a dream. On the other side hard works pays off because not only serving full time Active Duty Military, him and his partner in the group made it to B.E.T Wild Out Wednesday.

Once finishing four years of the military Jae Rich then left to become a full time student at the Art Institute of Atlanta to further his knowledge in the audio/music world. He also picked up a guitar and began teaching himself how to play and finding himself deeper in music and truly for the first time in his life. While Jae Rich and his guitar ventured in Atlanta he met a band in Marietta, Ga called People Of The Sun (P.O.T.S) and he became the lead vocalist of the band and they renamed the band together as Weapons Of Mass Seduction. Jae Rich is currently still working with the band and working on solo progects while being motivated by his daughter and his dream for success. The rest is yet to come...........
