Ivonne writes from the heart. A simply worded phrase or a single, sweet sound can speak to the soul, and Ivonne strives to capture that sense of our basic and common humanity that so easily seems to elude us these days.

Born in Chile and raised in Mexico by Chilean and American parents, Ivonne has a diverse cultural background and currently resides in Canada with her husband and two children. She has been creating songs since childhood, and consistently since the age of 12. Her music could be considered folk, country or pop, easily lending itself to crossover genres, and she often collaborates with her husband, Dave McGonigal. Her songs have spoken to many people over the years, and she is certain that they hold a message for a much wider, mainstream audience today.
