I have lived a life on the edge of a knife with a diverse career path as a paramedic, firefighter, police officer, detective, chiropractic physician and forensic investigator. I've seen sides of life sometimes better left unseen during assignments to specialized units including Homicide, Narcotics, Organized Crime and Counter-Terrorism. And all the while I've been putting it down on paper.

I drew from some tragic experiences as a medic and cop in the swampy, southern rock song, "Cut One, We All Bleed." This song is dedicated to those heroes who lost their lives in the line of duty or on the field of battle. We are a brotherhood of love, honor and pride. "When you take an oath and live by a creed, you cut one of us, we all bleed."

In "Still Small Voice", I reflect on how, too often, we don't listen to that voice that knows the right way. "Too much time living in bars, whiskey and smoke and playing guitar, the story's written on my arms in ink and scars."

Sounds Like: Tom Petty, Lou Reed
