Name:Darryl Ellis(artist,producer):Clarence Ellis(artist) Started in 2000 Hoodlumz is the name of our group ,and the style we possess is a mixture of souther and east-coast rap.We are lyricists trying to get our voices heard in the rap game.the song we make are different,unique and very creative.They are meant to show the different sides of hip-hop.Hoodlumz is every color,every sound,and every voice that has dream of making it to the top.
In 200 we started out with rapvibe(cig music) were they had interscope interested in us ,but it didnt go threw .A couple month later they invited us to a hip-hop summit were they show case their best talent.Atlantic record's scout like the beat for RESPECT:dreamworks like city light .after that we met a publishes of priority records.she like the music and pass it on ,but priority wasn't taking demo submission.after that we took some time out to make more music and take survey to see what people thought about are music (8 out 10 like it). here one written statement(ellis music is different and unique which is great along with style.alot of music i listen to now days is the same style. no one tells stories anymore or have a c.d that like a book with chapter ,ellis will bring that to the table)per Will Poke.what we are trying to do is be part of the hip=hop,and make music people want to listen too,and want to buy.
