Herbert Behrens, aka HerbieB., was born in Hamburg / Germany and started his musical career as a drummer with various local bands. He spent several years in the United Kingdom, where he toured and recorded with his group JAVA JIVE during and after his studies at the University of Buckingham. Upon his return to Hamburg he joined the management of his family's trading business and during those years there was only little time available for his music. This changed significantly after the move to the Mediterranian island of Majorca / Spain, where HerbieB. recently started to launch a new career as a professional songwriter and lyricist for the international music industry. In December 2003 HerbieB. produced and recorded his first demo-CD, containing his best songs, and he is presently looking for publishers and/or producers in the USA and/or Europe to get his songs published and recorded.
