Derrick Moody started in the industry in 1990, first as an artist and finally as a writer/producer. He has worked with various artists includingTeddy Riley, Wrecks N Effect, Bobby Brown, Big Daddy Kane, Nutta Butta, Neptunes, BBO, 911, Tyrone Phife and David Anthony.

Derrick wrote and performed on the multi-platinum Wrecks N Effect album "Hard and Smooth". He also wrote,performed and was heavily involved in producing Wrecks’ sophomore album "New Generation".

In 1996, Derrick worked on the Bullet Proof soundtrack. In 2000, he started his own production company, HarlemDon Productions. He has an in-home pre-production studio, where he has gained knowledge of Pro Tools, CUBASE, Roland 1680 and several keyboards.

Derrick is currently working with several independent film companies on various soundtracks, as well as producing tracks for various artists.
