we live in a small town (Greenlawn) about an hour outside NY City in Suffolk County which is on Long Island, this area is what we would call a "Cultural Waste Land"...In the early 90's an evolution in rock music occured, the 80's "Post-Punk" underground became widely popular, counter culture became pop culture...this helped to end the terrible corporate rock of the previous 10 years...because the "Indie Ethics" were a much needed addition to popular music...bands like Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Alice In Chains, and Pearl Jam really helped the evolution of popular rock music along...one thing we are willing to give the hair bands is that atleast alot of there music required talent to actually play, though they were examples of pure evil...we are trying to be original and honest even if we sign an evil major label deal...
