Glassmen is fragile, sharp, reflective, distorting music, like woodpeckers and Edward Scissorhands.

Glassmen's Sarah Jennings Evans studied music theory and audio engineering at Yale. After college, she played guitar, bass, piano, and viola in various bands before finally landing in Madison, Wisconsin.

While in Madison, she acquired a rare joint condition in her arms, and was limited to musical instruments you can play with just your feet: for example, the organ pedals. In 2012, she created Glassmen and released For the Crows. In 2013, she followed her EP with the single "All My Best," a song composed using only her feet and throat. In 2015, her arms finally improved, and she returned to performing with guitar and piano.
