Giovanni was born near Perugia in Umbria, Central Italy. He studied music at the Conservatory in Perugia and gained his piano diploma in 1989. He then studied composition in Milan. During his studies he busied himself intensively with
Pop and jazz.

Giovanni performed in Italy (Hotel Cala di Volpe, Sardinia, Hotel Le Sirenuse, Positano, Grandhotel Quisisana, Capri), Germany (among others Bei Tino, Exclusive Bar and Riva Lounge Düsseldorf; Piano Mo, Stuttgart); Hilton Hotels Basel, Berlin, Dresden, Mainz, Munich, Monaco (Living Room, Monte Carlo); Switzerland (Memphis Piano Bar, Crans Montana; Hotel Alpenhof, Zermatt), France and Austria and America(concert in Los Angeles,Miami,Neaples Florida.)
In Germany Giovanni has become a well know pianist by playing at the most popular clubs and bars.He is not only a fantastic piano player but also a great singer.He is able to impress his audience whit is wonderful voice and sing everything from jazz,soul,R&B to the latest hits.

Giovanni has given concerts whit the Symphonic Orchestra of the Conservatory Perugia, the Accademia Chigiana Siena. He has partecipated at the Festival of the Music Nations for Chamber Music in Città di Castello/Italy, at the Musikverein in Vienna and numerous lieder recitals show his sophisticated classical training.

He also played during the summer festival hosted by the former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl and at several big events organised by German industrial companies like Mercedes,Sachsenring Automobile, Ford,Siemens,Bosch,Ambiente etc.

Giovanni has worked as an arranger for various record companies for example in the United States with the Tenor Edgar Taylor-Anderson at Regson Records,in Italy (Giro Festival and San Remo Festival with Mino Reitano,Paolo Mengoli) and in Festivals throughout Germany. CDs have been published with Caroline Isabel Merz (Staatsoper Wien) under the title 'Cole Porter Songs' at Cybele (November 1996) Tina Kaiser, Stuttgart (September 1997) with Angelika Bastians as “Joyful Holy Nights” under Jazz network label.

Giovanni has also worked with Paul Kuhn as a singer during several session and on TV shows as well as working togheter with Henk De Laat (Shirley Bassey).

Currently Giovanni is working as a session piano player for the WDR studios in Cologne recording TV commercials and also working at different clubs throughout Germany,UAE,America,Italy and France.
