Gin Mill Hollow is a high-energy Americana-jamband from Madison, Wisconsin, known for their unique blend of bluegrass, folk, jazz, blues, and rock. The quartet has developed a strong following through more than 600 live shows over 12 years across the Midwest and beyond, celebrated for performances that often sound more like a rock show than a traditional string-band act. Gin Mill Hollow began as an acoustic duo featuring childhood friends Dan Plourde and Mark Norman, who connected for a last-minute gig at the Up North Bar in Madison, a venue that became their early home base for honing their sound. The group expanded into a trio with the addition of mandolinist Joshua "Juice" Giudice, eventually becoming a four-piece band with the addition of drummer/percussionist Joe Murray.
