Gene has been in the music business for about thrity years and has been around the block a time or two.
Gene has his own Publishing Company and along with his partner John Poznich they also have Antique Record Label.
Gene's first national release was in 1991 with "Dear Little Soldier" which made it to Cashbox weekly with a bullet for seven weeks, until the war ended.
In his early years Gene had songs recorded by Eddy Arnold, Sonny James, Charlie Pride, Charlie Louvin, The Wilburn Brothers and Jack Barlow.
Gene recorded "The man on page 602" about the sears catalog of 1975, remember the boxer shorts excitment?
