Contrary to popular rumor Gate Twelve did not derive its name from an airport terminal but rather from a martial arts ki energy form which emphasizes balance in body, mind and spirit. Don’t be fooled though, their music is far from tantric chants or new age ambience. Performing either as an acoustic duo or with a full band Darrell St.Blaine and Erin Glover offer up driving rock music with an ear towards memorable melodies and intricate vocal harmonies.

Having worked together for nearly 10 years Erin and Darrell have honed their vocal styles into a singular identity which gives the band its readily identifiable and unique sound. Going beyond the standard parallel harmonies heard on thousands of pop/rock songs they interweave melody with counter melody creating a depth of emotion rarely heard in modern pop/rock music.
