Band Bio

With the release of the 7-song CD, "Fistful of Christ", events have grown substantially for Seattle, Washington, Death/Black metal band Funeral Age. With consistently excellent reviews (hailed in Metal Maniacs, Aug. 2004 Firing Squad) "Fistful... rips with the tones of Krisiun but with more of a USDM feel i.e. Angel Corpse, dusted with frigid BM harmonies. Diverse time changes and relentless intensity drive the entire disc with a vengeance", it is hardly a mystery as to why, over the course of 2 years, Kevin Bedra, John Devos, Greg Hartung & Marlon Deppen, through relentless self-promotion and an uncompromising live show, have gone from being virtually unknown to sharing the stage and opening for such names as Exodus, Cannibal Corpse, Kreator, Vader, Decapitated, Dew Scented, Anal Blast, Sadus, Incantation, Hirax and The Accused. The year 2008 has proven very fortunate as the band has finally recorded their second CD "Thy Martyrdom Come" and it is currently in the mixing stages.
