Bio

Frequency & Fever is an envisage of music synergism between, two highly impassioned and uniquely individual artists. Their unlikely union in spring 2008, in a small remote town off the sunshine coast of B.C., has since evolved into an extraordinary ensemble. Andreas David, a.k.a. Ydna Murd and Leslee Mills LeBlanc have shared in the parturition of this creatively spun, collaboration that speaks volumes about each proponents, favored music influence's and particular tastes'. The rarity of Frequency & Fever is this duo's accountability to collectively create; parlay of the French philosophy . . .

"Qui fa-cit per alium fa-cit per se." Translation?!? "He who does something through another, does it through himself."

Nicht Wahr? (Isn't it so?)

The adversity of their music perspectives is clear, in fact as farbeit different, to being cosmos apart! So the apparent ease is the obvious synchronicity. The enigma is how they balance their otherwise polar artistic chemistry's.

During those preliminary exploratory years, Andreas turned his ear and admiration to the likes of the great bands, as Joy Division, The Prodigy and Massive Attack. He has been inspired by and taken cues from the renowned duo, Faithless and the hellacious entertainer's of Tool. Andreas, a native to Germany, came to Canada four years ago with his beautiful wife and young son. He left behind an accomplished band, as well as many recording projects, and memorable performing experiences. Ydna Murd continues today to be a recognized symbol of electronic artistry that claims a loyal, fan base, following throughout many regions of Europe.

Leslee's medium developed under the North American umbrella and though perhaps was exposed to a more commercially lead entourage of musicians, it is the very variation of who she chose to be her "mentors" that has played a huge part in her indubitable vocal identity and distinguishing franchaise of expressions. Billy Holiday, Tina Turner, Streetheart, Billy Squire, Judas Priest, Prince, G&R, Waterboys, Alice in Chains, Clutch and Killswitch Engage, to name a few of the greats she pays tribute to and credits for their contribution to her personal academy of learning. Leslee's been involved with a few bands, and recording projects, but has opted to keep it solo for the last while until she felt sure she had found the, only other missing "part of the whole".

Frequency & Fever is dedicated to establishing an united world front by encouraging and sharing the "ethos" of their message -- FLAT LUX --. Let there be Light. Their signature style of electronic, experimental, house, trip hop, with elements of rock is legioned by a melodic euphony of syntax, putting them, by all accounts, in a league quite of their own. They invite you to have a sit down or a dance off to their matrix - like assemblage, that will sequester your attention and intrinsically lead you with intensities of signal and tone, exhorting your temperature to profound heights of pyretic delirium & fervourved ecstasy.
Frequency & Fever is on the scene and prepared to alter the confines and censorships, presently insulating the collective state of the universal mind.
If you've ever been there, you'll get exactly what they mean! Nicht wahr?
