My name is Flis and I'm a singer/songwriter. I'm 21 and have been writing lyrics since I was quite young (can't remember how young exactly but I know I entered one of my songs into a local talent show when I was 11 and won!) and have continued to do so up to this point. I play guitar but really only as an aid to my vocals. I'm in a band called 'Butter My Cheerleader' and we are just beginning to play pubs around Canterbury. I also have a degree in Film, Radio and Television Studies and currently work in Canterbury Cathedral Gift Shop. I'm really keen to learn about the music industry and how to improve upon my songwriting - I love it and am beginning to feel as if I can take it somewhere if I try hard enough and with the right guidance.
