After years of playing with various bands in the LA scene, Founders Mony (lead singer and guitarist) and lead guitarist Ido collaborated to produce an album that is catchy in melody, yet has an enduring quality. Fusing mellow sounds a la Coldplay and Travis, with the punch of STP, and creative progressions a la Supergrass.

Initially calling themselves 'eye twenty', the two released their debut album 'King of the Swamp'. Soon after, they united with bassist Buzi jones and drummer Drew Herche.

Besides touring various venues in Southern California, Canopy has played some of the most notorious clubs in the LA scene and managed to sell over 500 albums in a short 3 month period.

A showcase set up by Capitol Records sparked major local buzz as well as producer interest.

Currently the band is working on their sophmore album.
