Their major influences are Tool, Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd and Led Zeplin. Formed out of Bowling Green Ohio, the three came together to form a sound that was like no other. The music is dark and heavy at times, but will take drastic turns to express all forms of music. Each band member comes from a long history and background in music, which has in time only tightend the bands sound. Their philosophy on life is to enjoy every fuckin second of it.

Expiate has been around the Norhtwest Ohio scene for several years, although, with members choosing to finish college first, touring has not been a top priority. Check expiatemusic.com for tour dates near you.
