What began from a simple idea to create expressive and refreshing sounds quickly developed into this four-piece band that combines ambient, deep rock and bass-driven grooves with a chilling vocal style and a more haunting lyrical presence. Alyse, Steve, and Russ met fall 2001. Realizing an instant chemistry, the trio invited established guitarist and sonic artist Nate Rose into the mix, and eula was born. After three months of writing, rehearsing, and harnessing their collective powers, eula unleashed their unexpected brand of rock at a battle of the bands, gaining confidence from the audience response. They hit the studio and since have performed successfully at such venues as Webster Underground (Hartford) and Toad's Place (New Haven). Ready, willing, and more than able to conquer the local scene and beyond, eula plans a release in ‘04. Until then, warm your bones and tighten your belts, because when eula takes the stage they just might chill your spine or rock your pants off.
