Ernie Krivda Bio

Ernie Krivda has been on the scene since the 1960’s. He has fashioned a career that has produced over twenty six recordings as a leader, the respect of his peers and great critical acclaim. Described repeatedly by jazz writers, as one of the jazz worlds finest tenor sax players and most distinctive musicians, Krivda is also a prolific composer and successful band leader. In 2005 Ernie Krivda received the prestigious Cleveland Jazz Legends Award for his storied musical accomplishments. His comment upon receiving the award was “ there is more to come”.
