Portland, Oregon native, Eric Parker's catchy pop melodies and contemplative lyrics have as much texture and personality as the city from which he hails.

Having played at venues across the country, Parker is no stranger to being on stage. his engaging set of alt-country pop music has often been compared to that of John Mayer and Ryan Adams.

In 2006 he released his debut, self produced album titled An EP. "My hope for my music is that it is relevant and honest," explains Parker "I feel that the artist's responsibility is to be a person who sets out to teach the world how to see beauty". Unafraid to express his thoughts and fears in life through his music, he invites listeners to contemplate who they really are.

Now a resident of Nashville, TN, he is currently in Martha's Vineyard, MA at the Contemporary Music Center, recording a new album, Uh Oh, set for release in May of 2008.
