Music lovers of all ages,

My name is Brian, and I'm a home recording artist from the Baltimore Washington area. I am a self taught musician, learning and playing everything I can get my hands on. I am well versed in guitar, piano, bass guitar, harmonica, and play a mean kazoo. I also dabble in drums, jaw harp and Australian digeradoo. I started writing music about 2-3 years ago, and found it a great outlet for my creativity, beliefs, and my overall adoration for music. I record everything in my home recording studio with a Lexicon Lambda interface, Shure mics, and edit with Cubase LE. I play Takamine and Gibson acoustics, Gibson and Westone electrics, Takamine acoustic bass, and Yamaha DX500 for all the midi, synth and piano. I am also a professional chef by trade, so I decided to name the site "Emulsion." Like a well done vinaigrette, music to me is taking ingredients that may or may not mix readily together, and combining them in a way that makes it smooth, flowing, and oh so tasty.
