Emanuel started out at an early age writing lyrics and making tracks on his casio four second sampler simply for the love of creating music. Now his love for creating music has grown stronger. Influenced by hip-hop producing legends such as DJ Premier and Pete Rock, and classic MC's such as KRS-1, Kool G. Rap and Rakim, Emanuel has developed his own style as potentially one of hip-hop's elite producer/lyricist.
In April of 1996, Emanuel was the "featured act" in the ASCAP Showcase in Los Angeles, CA. In his return back home to Elmira, New York, he maintained his passion for hip-hop by driving to New York City three to four times a week to record his first major demo in the world renown "The Cutting Room" recording studio. Working in the studio led to a buzz in the world of underground hip-hop whick eventually led to having songs played on the mecca of hip-hop radio, Hot 97.
