No one really knows the origins of Elyte. Some say he is a Brooklyn born MC turned producer after relocating to Hotlanta, others say he is a southern born cat that moved up north & was bit by the r&b/hip hop bug, still others say he is a wheel chair bound twenty-something year old who was caught in a crossfire at a club in DC one night who later came to the decision- if I can no longer stand up and dance, then I'll make you dance.
