Scott has been trained musically by Gene Baker of Baker Guitars and recently is under the tutelage of Doug Doppler, Joe Satriani’s apprentice and now instructor for Joe’s program at Berkley.

After having been strongly influenced by progressive bands such as Dream Theater, Satellite and Fates Warning, Scott has found his own sound. He balances the technical aspects of his music with his youthful influences of U2, New Order and Simple Minds to create a sound in the likes of John Mayer, Sarah McLachlan, and Dave Mathews.

Scott considers his music right for the adult alternative listener. His lyrics pronounce strong emotion, thought, and insight to relationships, strength, courage, failures and humility. He is currently working on a full length recording entitled The Acension Dawn with his band The Shadowfield Orchestra.
