Ellen Xylander released her debut single "One day we'll make it home" in May 2011. The song went straight to Norway's official hit chart, VG-lista, place 5, May 2011, as well as the ITunes Top-chart, and radio. The music video of "One day we'll make it home was 2011's most viewed and voted for in it's genre in Norwegian TV, NRK Jukeboks. Hollywood actor Derek Theler (Baby Daddy) plays the role of Ellen's boyfriend in the music video. AWARDS
