The Duelling Winos are a five-piece melodic indie rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. The band - influenced by the likes of The Killers, Pink Floyd and Queen - enjoy writing emotive and/or energetic songs because it helps to keep people from nodding off or taking extended toilet breaks during gigs! Most of all they love engaging with a crowd. That's why since forming in 2008, the band have gigged regularly at Glasgow's best music venues - Barfly, Box, Renfrew Ferry, Twisted Wheel, Cosmopol and Ivory Blacks to name just a few. The band's first single, "Someday" was released for download on Friday, 27th November, with all proceeds going to Teenage Cancer Trust. "Someday" will is available on iTunes, Napster, HMV, Nokia Music, and all good download stores.
