Drew Weir has been writing songs since 1998. Involved as a bass player to many bands and worship teams, he recorded his first song "The Risen King" on the Oral Roberts University album "Sacred Vow". 2003 saw the release of his first CD, "Reaching". He entered his song "Make in me a new creation", in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and was a runner-up in the Gospel/Christian Contemporary category. Drew has been the worship leader of Family Church of the Nazarene since 2000. His music is a mix of acoustic-rock and pop, with an emphasis on glorifying God. His style is liken to Delirious, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, and Coldplay.
