Releasing a Full CD's worth of original songs in the summer of 2005, Don's CD sales continue to soar, The CD features 12 songs and was recorded at Tunecastle studios in Goodlestsville, TN. All the songs were either written or co-written by Don Ellsworth.In the spring of 2005, Don received notice that one of the songs titled “I LOVE THAT LIE” got an honorable mention in the CMT/NSAI SONG WRITING CONTEST.
In the Fall of 2005, Don was asked to open a show for country music recording artists Darryl Worley at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ. On the heels of the success of the HOB show Don hopes to continue his upward climb and further evolve as a songwriter and performer.
