Don wrote his first song in the fifth grade and has been writing music ever since. By high school he was writing charts for his James Brown style band. By college he was writing college fight songs for music theory exercises, by graduate school he was scoring student films and children's theatre dramas, writing worship songs, anthems, jingles, and musicals. As a stage director he now serves as his own sound designer. His American Fanfare was recorded by the Kiev Philharmonic Orchestra and released on the ERM label.
