In July of 2002, Jim and Dolinar had known each other for six months. Jim had hired Dolinar to accompany his singing. Over that time, they had learned enough Sinatra, Beatles and other songs to constitute a lounge act. After a couple of “gigs”, Jim’s singing career was sidetracked. Dolinar asked him about finding a book of poems so that he could put English words to his original compositions. A week later, Jim had written lyrics to five of Dolinar’s songs. They have yet to look backward and are still going strong.
