A native to Chicago. Currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona.

Derek Started playing piano at age 9. At 13 he picked up guitar. As a freshman in high school he started playing the Chicago rock scene. The next ten years was spent performing in the Chicago market. He played in bands that were voted second best new metal band, locally. Also, was voted second most requested rock band on a local radio station.

Currently is a solo Christian artist writing and performing all material. He plays: guitar, bass, piano, drums, and all vocals.
