DeMilitiA is a raw visceral dose of psychotropic metal. A tightly woven compound of relentless oscilating thrash riffs scraping over breackneck grooves all driven by organic machine gun percussion. Then slathered in a gravy of primal throat destruction and a tinge of classic rock guitarded six string abuse. Composed by drunk raging viking-stoners with A.D.D. that have a love and appreciation for both melodic fury and unnerving dissonance.

History of the band

DeMilitiA originated as the brainchild of Billy Maloney and Owen Burley in the winter of 2004 in snow-buried Buffalo, NY. After relocating to Billy's hometown of Broolyn in 2006 the duo teamed up with Chris O'Neil,Jayson Porsze and Ralph Reyes to create their own organic hybrid of heavy metal with a universal old school rock and roll attitude. Each member brings a completely different set of influences to the table, creating a mongrel breed of thrash, death metal, psychedelic and progressive rock, drawing inspiration from favorites like Mastodon, Lamb of God and Cannibal Corpse. The music and live shows are focused on provoking a visceral and psychotropic experience within the audience.
