Description: The musical style should be up-tempo, dance-able, fun, and exciting
yet dramatic at times. The song for this promo will have to be dynamic. Some parts
will need to be totally in the realm of The Crystal Method "Cherry Twist" or Chemical
Brothers "Galvanize", and other parts should be more dark and dramatic similar to
many tracks on Massive Attack's albums "Mezzanine" and/or "100th Window." This
piece should start fast and hard charging out of the gate. It should have some
sections that drop back and get more moody (ie. the Massive Attack reference).
Instrumentation is wide open, but drums should be dominant in the up-tempo
sections. Strings, synths, guitars, horns, and all types of percussion are all welcome
options throughout.
