Deborah began her singing career early on as a member of a church choir, later became a member of a local R&B band and performed at various clubs.

Legendary Gladys Knight and Mary Wells have played a strong role in Deborah's musical style. Some other influences are Phyllis Hyman, Linda Jones and Smokey Robinson.

"Let You Tell It" has earned Deborah a world-wide fan based via digital/internet radio stations in Canada, Japan, Germany, Spain, Austrailla and London to name a few.
